This product is used to relieve symptoms of extra gas such as belching, bloating, and feelings of pressure/discomfort in the stomach/gut. Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles in the gut.
How to use Mytab Gas Maximum Strength Oral
Take this product by mouth, usually 2-4 times a day after meals and at bedtime, or as directed by your doctor. Chew the tablets thoroughly before swallowing. Follow all directions on the product package. If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If you are self-treating with simethicone, the usual maximum amount for adults is 500 milligrams daily.
If your condition persists or worsens, or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.
There are no reports of any side effects due to this medication. However, tell your doctor if you experience any unpleasant effects while taking this medication.
A very serious allergic reaction to this product is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of the following symptoms of a serious allergic reaction: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

Before taking simethicone, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
This medicine may contain aspartame. If you have phenylketonuria (PKU) or any other condition that requires you to restrict your intake of aspartame (or phenylalanine), consult your doctor or pharmacist about using this drug safely.
This medicine may contain sugar. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor or pharmacist about using this drug safely.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication.
It is not known if this medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
If you are taking this product under your doctor\'s direction, your doctor or pharmacist may already be aware of possible drug interactions and may be monitoring you for them. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with your doctor or pharmacist first.
Tell your doctor of any prescription or nonprescription medications you may take, including any antacids or digestive medications since some combination products may also contain simethicone.

If you experience problems with gas, diet changes such as limiting foods known to cause gas and bloating (e.g., beans, cabbage, high-fat foods) or using digestive enzymes may be helpful. Ask your doctor or a dietician for help in reviewing your diet.
Belching may be caused by swallowing too much air. Eating/drinking quickly, chewing gum, and smoking can cause you to swallow more air.
MISSED DOSE:
If you are taking this product on a regular schedule and miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
STORAGE:
Store at room temperature between 59-86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from moisture, heat, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Refer to storage information printed on the package. If you have any questions about storage, ask your pharmacist. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
Do not flush medications down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. Properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company for more details about how to safely discard your product.
